Caesars Palace in two UK box office hits

Caesars Palace casino resort featured in two movies at the UK box office last week.

The famous Las Vegas gaming hotspot was used for a scene in new number one smash Iron Man, as well making numerous appearances in blackjack film 21 - which is now sixth in the list.

Caesars is the setting for some craps in Iron Man, with the popular table game being played by lead actor Robert Downey Jr, who elects to have a gamble instead of going to an awards ceremony in his character's honour.

Dice was not the reason why 21 came to the casino, however. The Kevin Spacey feature focused upon Caesars blackjack tables to help tell the story of the group of students who won millions from the gaming industry by using card counting techniques.

Other casinos to feature in 21 include The Venetian Hotel Casino Resort, the Rivera Hotel & Casino and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
